The Integrated Environmental and Sustainability Learning Standards - Newly added!
 
The Integrated Environmental and Sustainability Learning Standards are now available including:
  • Context and background information
  • Glossary
  • Connections to Other Disciplines – science and social studies
  • Search by Topic: This tool makes it possible to search the standards by skills and grade levels to identify which standards contain specific skills. By selecting a grade, several grades, or all grades, it is then possible to enter a specific skill and view all the standards that contain that skill. Look for this icon:
   

The Arts Learning Standards - Added in May!
 
The Arts Learning Standards are now available including:
  • EALRs, Components, Elementary, Middle/Jr. High, and High School descriptions
  • The Reports Tab:
    • Grade band specific descriptions: The descriptions for each art discipline have provided the foundation for the development of the Washington State K–12 Arts Learning Standards and their supporting grade level expectations and examples contained within the Options for Implementing the Arts Standards by Grade Level documents.
    • The Span Report displays the entire list of grade-band descriptions for the level selected, plus the level immediately before and after.
  • Search by Topic: This tool makes it possible to search GLEs by skills and grade levels to identify which GLEs contain specific skills. By selecting a grade, several grades, or all grades, it is then possible to enter a specific skill and view all the GLEs that contain that skill. Look for this icon:

  • Behind the Instructional Support tab:
    • Additional Mathcasts, which are short screencasts that explain and solve mathematical problems, have been added.
  • Behind the Assessment tab:
    • Updated test and item specifications have been added.

Health and Fitness
  • Behind the OSPI-Developed Assessment tab:
    • Additional OSPI-Developed Assessments have been added.

Science
  • Science connection links to the Math standards

Social Studies
  • Behind the Instructional Support tab:
    • Links to the Tribal Sovereignty Curriculum
