Educational Technology

    • OSPI-Developed Assessments - Designed for the elementary, middle and high school grades, they integrate science, math, health, English language arts, social studies and the arts. K-2 teachers can take advantage of a simplified checklist. Classroom activities are well guided, easy to use and come equipped with a comprehensive inventory of free and low-cost digital resources.

  • Behind the Instructional Support tab:
    • Stories from the Field: Examples of Integrated Environmental and Sustainability Education - To support the implementation of K-12 Integrated Environmental and Sustainability Education Learning Standards, OSPI solicited examples from teachers across the state of what it looks like when students are engaged in integrated environmental and sustainability education. These "Stories from the Field" represent real lessons, units, extensions, projects, and programs across grade levels and in different subject areas.

    Search by Topic: This tool makes it possible to search the standards by skill and grade level/grade band to identify which standards contain specific skills. By selecting a grade level/grade band or several grade level/grade bands, it is then possible to enter a specific skill and view all the standards that contain that skill. Look for this icon:
